8 of the Best Ganesh Chaturthi Ads, Collected by The Best of Ads

Share

Ganesh Chaturthi ads have found their stories in the moments before Bappa arrives. A child checks a car boot, another paints an idol on a wall, and one family changes the way it sits down for dinner. Each film uses the festival to show what a new beginning can look like inside a home.

These are eight Ganesh Chaturthi ads collected by The Best of Ads that are worth watching again.

Parle-G | Ganpati Festival, 2024

A young girl asks why she cannot help bring the Ganpati idol home. The explanation she receives leaves her disappointed, until another child finds a way to include her and the other women in the procession. That small change allows the tradition to continue while making its happiness open to everyone. Parle-G connected the gesture with the line, “Genius wohi, jo auron ki khushi mein paye apni khushi.” Created by Thought Blurb Communications, the film presented intelligence as noticing someone’s exclusion and using imagination to correct it.

Mahindra Truck and Bus | Wish You A Happy Ganesh Chaturthi, 2018

Lord Ganesha became a silent travelling companion for a truck driver carrying an idol to a waiting community. During the journey, the driver spoke to Bappa about his work, his family and the worries that travelled with him. While people prepared for their celebration, he remained away from his own loved ones to ensure that theirs could begin. Created by FCB Interface, the film recognised the drivers and transport workers who carry idols, flowers and decorations before the festival, placing Mahindra’s truck inside the unseen work behind Ganeshotsav.

Birla Opus Paints | Special Mehmaan Aayenge?, 2025

A young boy repeatedly asks whether a special guest can stay in the family home. His parents hesitate, but his excitement slowly draws them into preparing the rooms with flowers, decorations and fresh colour. The guest is eventually revealed as Lord Ganesha, whom the family is welcoming home for the first time. Birla Opus Paints kept their products in the background and allowed the child’s wish to carry the film. Created by Leo India, Special Mehmaan Aayenge? placed the brand’s “Duniya Ko Rang Do” thought inside a moment of devotion and family warmth.

AU Small Finance Bank | Badlaav Humse Hai, 2021

The dining table became the place where one family questioned an unequal custom. Aditya returns home for Ganeshotsav and notices that the men eat first while the women serve them, clean up and have their meal later. He begins avoiding meals with his father and brother rather than accepting the routine. Once his father understands why, the family finally sits down together. AU Small Finance Bank connected the change with their “Badlaav Humse Hai” platform, showing that a new beginning can start with one decision inside the home.

Berger Paints India | Paint Your Imagination, 2018

An empty wall gave a young boy another way to welcome Bappa. He wanted a Ganesh idol for the festival but could not afford one, so he used paint and imagination to create his own image of Lord Ganesha. The wall became part of a personal celebration shaped by what he already had. Berger Paints connected the story with #BergerWithBappa and invited people to share their own festivities. Created by HGS Interactive, the film showed how creativity could carry devotion without requiring an expensive or elaborate celebration.

MG Motor India | Tumchi Seat Taiyaar Ahe, 2025

A child visiting an MG showroom cares more about the boot than the features his parents are examining. He checks the space, climbs inside different cars and leaves the family wondering what he is planning. The answer arrives when they take Lord Ganesha home inside their new MG Windsor. The boy had been making sure that Bappa would have a comfortable seat for the journey. Created by Punctuate Productions, Tumchi Seat Taiyaar Ahe turned the vehicle’s space into part of a family ritual and gave a practical feature an emotional purpose.

Tata Motors | Happy Ganesh Chaturthi, 2019

The journey home carried the meaning in Tata Motors’ Ganesh Chaturthi film. Family members living in different places left their daily routines behind and returned to celebrate together. Travel became the connection between decorated homes, shared rituals and the people waiting to welcome Bappa. Tata Motors placed mobility inside the occasion through their “Connecting Aspirations” platform. The vehicles mattered because they brought relatives back to the same home, allowing the festival to become a reunion rather than a celebration experienced separately.

Berger Imperia | Paint Your Imagination, 2019

Ridhaan turned the family home into a search for different representations of Lord Ganesha. Berger Imperia invited viewers to follow his imagination, count the idols appearing throughout the film and share their answers online. The activity made families part of the story instead of leaving them outside the celebration. Wooden furniture and familiar household objects gave Ridhaan places to discover Bappa, while Berger Imperia’s wood coatings fitted naturally into the setting. The film connected the warmth of wood with the way a child can see something festive inside an ordinary room.

Welcoming Bappa changed more than the room

Parle-G and AU Small Finance Bank used the festival to question who participates and who is served first. Berger found Bappa through paint, wood and childhood imagination. Birla Opus and MG followed children preparing a place for their special guest, while Tata Motors and Mahindra found the story in the journeys that make the celebration possible.

Across all eight films, Bappa’s arrival created a reason to include someone, return home, question a custom or see an ordinary space differently.
